About Daniel Island, SC - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Daniel Island is a part of Charleston, South Carolina, and it is named for Robert Daniell, former colonial governor of the Carolinas. The island is found in Berkley County and is situated between the Wando and Cooper Rivers. In 2012, development started to turn it into a master-planned community, complete with parks, tails, residential neighborhoods, and a downtown area.

Although Daniel Island is a fairly new community, there are a variety of things to see and do when visiting. Daniel Island is home to eight parks, including Barfield Park, Cochran Park, Etiwan Park, and Smythe Park, and the community has 23 miles of rivers and creeks that offer boating, fishing, swimming, and crabbing.  The community is home to two professional sports facilities: the MUSC Health Stadium is home to the Charleston Battery, while the Family Circle Tennis Center hosts the annual Volvo Car Open.  Golf fans may enjoy playing a round at the Daniel Island Club, which is home to nationally ranked courses.

Like much of the state, Daniel Island is known for its humid subtropical weather. The year begins with a mild, short winter, and while average daily highs reach the high-50s, lows can fall into the low-40s overnight. Snow is rare, but residents will still need to invest in a heat pump or furnace in order to stay warm, at least until the spring months begin.

Summers in Daniel Island are typically hot and humid, with July serving as the hottest month of the year. Average daily highs reach the upper-80s, and the summer is also the wettest season of the year. Without a central air conditioner at home to help residents to stay cool, dangerous conditions and heat-related illnesses could be possible. HVAC specialists are available to help Daniel Island residents to choose the right system that will keep them cool while maintaining affordable energy bills.
